Liv Pure, is yet another weight loss supplement that has been creating a lot of buzz as of lately. Liv Pure is a dietary supplement that claims to help with weight management and improve overall health by detoxifying liver and as a result, boosting metabolism and burning more fat.

But with so many weight loss supplements on the market, and all every supplement claiming to be “the one”, how do you know if Liv Pure is actually worth your time and money?

Well, it doesn’t..

In my opinion it does not worth your money and there are many other weight loss supplements that are better. One example, is Stripfast 5000 with K-Cytro.

Why I’m saying this? For various reasons..

In this review, I take a deep dive on what Liv Pure is, how it works, and the science behind its ingredients. I also discuss the things I like about this supplement, the things I don’t and why I think it is not worth your money.

So, if you’re considering trying Liv Pure, read on to discover everything you need to know about this weight loss supplement.

What is Liv Pure?

According to Liv Pure’s website, it is a weight loss supplement that uses two proprietary blends to A: detoxify your liver and B: to boost your metabolism and help you burn fat.

The idea supposedly came from Dr. Nicholas Andino, who knows a lot about natural health stuff, and Dan Saunders, a firefighter who wanted to help his wife get healthier after she had some serious health scares because of her weight.

The problem is that non of these two people are real, but more on that later..

Anyway, they have found out that sometimes our bodies hold onto extra weight because our livers get all clogged up with toxins.

Liv Pure uses ingredients from plants you might find around the Mediterranean Sea—stuff like Silymarin and Betaine for cleaning the liver, and others like Green Tea Extract for helping burn off fat.

Liv Pure Ingredients

Each Liv Pure capsule has two proprietary blends and other ingredients which are known as fillers.

I understand that you can’t read anything from this label, that’s why I’ve found the compete ingredients list and formatted it to a table for easy reading.

Proprietary BlendsIngredients
Liver Fat – Burning Complex (213 mg)Green Coffee Bean (Chlorogenic acid) extract, Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) leaf extract, Choline Bitartrate, Resveratrol, Genistein
Liver Purification Complex (130 mg)Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) seed extract, Betaine Hydrochloride, Berberine Hydrochloride, Glutathione, Molybdenum citrate
Other IngredientsMicrocrystalline cellulose, gelatin, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, and silicon dioxide

Now, I’ll tell you upfront that the research shows that the ingredients do work.

BUT, the problem lies in the proprietary blends. When a company uses a proprietary blend we cannot know how much of each ingredient it actually has.

For example, it may just 1 mg of green coffee bean extract and 1 mg of green tea extract.. 1 mg will do absolutely NOTHING with your weight loss efforts.

Having said that, keep in mind that numbers in brackets link back to scientific research papers that back up each ingredient’s claims.

Liver Fat – Burning Complex: 130 mg

  • Resveratrol Resveratrol is an antioxidant found in grapes and red wine that may help reduce inflammation, improve heart health, potentially prevent certain cancers, and have anti-aging effects that could increase lifespan, though more research is needed to confirm these benefits. [11] [12]
  • Camellia Sinensis – Green tea from the Camellia Sinensis plant contains antioxidants like catechins and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). These compounds, along with caffeine, may promote fat burning by increasing norepinephrine levels and the breakdown of fat, especially when combined with exercise. Multiple studies support the potential weight loss benefits of green tea extracts. [13] [14]
  • Genistein is a natural compound found in soybeans and legumes that may aid weight loss. It is believed to inhibit fat cell growth, reduce fat storage, improve insulin sensitivity for better blood sugar control, and potentially modulate hormones involved in appetite regulation, thereby impacting body composition and weight management.
  • Chlorogenic acid is a polyphenol antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables. It may aid weight loss by reducing carb absorption and increasing fat metabolism, regulate blood sugar levels, and provide heart health benefits by lowering blood pressure and inflammation.
  • Choline is an essential nutrient found in foods like eggs, liver, broccoli, and fish. It supports brain health by aiding neurotransmitter synthesis, cell membrane formation, and liver function. Adequate intake may improve memory, attention, and fetal brain development during pregnancy.

Liver Purification Complex:  213 mg

  • Silymarin – Silymarin, derives from milk thistle plant. It has potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may protect liver cells and support liver function [1]. Preliminary research suggests it could aid weight loss by improving insulin resistance and reducing inflammation, but more studies are needed to confirm its efficacy [2].
  • Betaine may help lower homocysteine levels and reduce the risk of heart disease [3] [4]. It has also been found to enhance exercise performance by increasing creatine phosphate production for energy during high-intensity exercise [5].
  • Berberine is a bioactive compound found in plants like barberry and goldenseal. Research suggests it may aid weight loss by improving insulin sensitivity, regulating blood sugar levels, and enhancing the activity of AMPK, an enzyme involved in metabolism regulation [6]. It has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine to treat various ailments, including diabetes and digestive issues.
  • Glutathione is a potent antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals, aids in detoxification and liver function, supports immune system health by enhancing natural killer cells, and its levels decline with age, potentially contributing to age-related conditions. [7] [8] [9]
  • Molybdenum is an essential trace mineral that acts as a cofactor for enzymes involved in breaking down harmful substances and metabolizing nutrients. It plays a role in converting sulfites into sulfates, aiding detoxification. While deficiency is rare, certain factors may increase risk. However, excessive intake can be detrimental to health.

KEY TAKEAWAY
Although the ingredients are backed by scientific evidence, the supplement uses proprietary blends, unknown origin and quality of ingredients and as well as fillers. According to our article on 10 Tips On How to Choose High Quality Vitamins and Supplements – these three points are a big non-no for us.

Liv Pure Supplement Pros & Cons

When it comes to Liv Pure, there are some good things and many “bad” things about it.. Let’s start with the bad things first.

😔 Liv Pure Cons

  • Proprietary blends – Liv Pure uses 2 proprietary blends that make it impossible to actually know how much of each ingredient each proprietary blends actually has. From my experience in reviewing supplements, it can have the minimum amount need just to mention it on the label and the rest of the capsule to be filled with fillers.
  • Fillers – Talking about fillers, Liv Pure has a lot of them.. Personally, I don’t like consuming supplements that are filled with potentially dangerous substances.
  • Company offices – As much I could search, I couldn’t find the company behind this supplement, nor its offices. Big no-no for me..
  • Founders are fake – The fact alone that the supposed founders of this supplement do not exist, destroys any sign of trust left towards this supplement.
  • No Standardize extracts – The fact that Liv Pure does not use standardized extracts for its herbal ingredients is concerning. Standardization ensures consistent levels of active compounds, which is important for safety and effectiveness. Without standardization, there’s no guarantee that the product contains the right amount of active ingredients, making it difficult to assess its true value.
  • Not lab tested – I don’t like that Liv Pure does not provide a certificate from a third-party laboratory to confirm that its product indeed contains the ingredients listed on its label and that it does not contain any “funny” substances.
  • Not a reputable brand – Not a reputable brand – Although this should not be the sole factor to judge a company, in this case this is something that adds up to my mistrust for this company.

😊 Liv Pure Pros

  • Ingredients are backed by scientific research – While the ingredients in Liv Pure are supported by scientific research for their potential benefits, it’s important to note that individual results may vary, and the effectiveness of the supplement can be influenced by various factors, including diet, exercise, and overall health status.
  • 60 day money back guarantee – The 60-day money-back guarantee offered by Liv Pure provides a risk-free opportunity for customers to try the supplement. If you’re unsatisfied with the results or experience any issues, you can take advantage of the guarantee and request a refund, ensuring a safe and secure purchasing experience.

Liv Pure Reviews / Testimonials

In this section, I took the internet by storm to find other Liv Pure reviews or testimonials from consumers. Here’s what I’ve found:

  • Consumer reports – Consumer reports does not have any Liv Pure reviews.
  • Trustpilot – On Trustpilot Liv Pure has 1 bad review, that doesn’t seem like anyone can make sense of what it says.
  • Reddit – If you search for Liv Pure Reviews Reddit, you are going to come up with seemingly many reviews, but none of them offers any real insights about their experience with the product.
  • YouTube – YouTube is infested with fake reviews about Liv Pure. Just try to search for Liv Pure review on Google and you’ll see what I mean.. The odd thing is that this review (which is honest) doesn’t show up in the search results.. (huh?)
  • Amazon – As you are going to see further down this article, Liv Pure is NOT sold on Amazon. On Amazon there is only a fake Liv Pure supplement. Although the fake one has some reviews from unsuspected customers who were looking for the REAL Liv Pure, I am not going to list them, since it is a totally different product.
  • Facebook – There are hundreds of Liv Pure Reviews on Facebook. Most of them are fake, but I’ve noticed some of them that talk with a positive attitude towards it.
  • X (Former Twitter) – On Twitter, I haven’t seen any meaningful reviews about Liv Pure.

Final Words

Liv Pure is a two part supplement that claims to detoxify the liver and promote weight loss. Considering that the supplement has fake founders, you can't find the company behind the supplement, the fake reviews, the proprietary blends, the fillers that are in the supplement and the lack of any trust signal, I do not recommend this supplement.
